T-Shirt Sizing Guide
How to choose the right t-shirt size — fit tips for First Date tees, when to size up or down, and how our relaxed cuts compare to everyday brands.
Our tee fit: relaxed, not boxy
First Date t-shirts are designed with a comfortable, relaxed fit — easy through the chest and shoulders with a length that works tucked or untucked. If you prefer a closer fit, consider sizing down; if you like an oversized streetwear look, size up.
Every product page includes a size chart from our print partner. Use your chest measurement as the starting point, then adjust based on how you like your tees to sit.
Quick sizing tips
Measure a tee you already love: lay it flat, measure chest pit-to-pit, and compare to the size chart on the product page.
Between sizes? Size up for a looser weekend fit; size down if you want a cleaner, more fitted silhouette.
Our Basic Tees use premium heavyweight cotton — they may feel structured at first and soften after a few washes.
- Chest: primary measurement for tops
- Length: check if you prefer cropped, standard, or longline
- Shoulders: seam should sit at the edge of your shoulder, not mid-bicep
