Treat prints like they matter
Most First Date apparel is printed to order. Turn pieces inside out, wash cold, and skip the high-heat dryer when you can. Heat and harsh spin cycles crack prints and shrink cotton faster than daily wear does.
A care routine that actually gets used
- Cold wash, inside out, with similar colours
- Mild detergent — no bleach on prints or dyed caps
- Hang dry or low tumble; pull hoodies into shape while damp
- Caps: spot clean. Avoid the washing machine unless the care label says otherwise
- Sandals: wipe down; do not machine wash
Pilling and fading
Fleece hoodies can pill where bags rub. A fabric shaver fixes it. White tees stay brighter if you wash them separately from new dark denim for the first few cycles.
