The Coffee Date Outfit
A no-stress coffee date outfit: tee, optional cap, clean shoes, and one layer in case the cafe is freezing.
Coffee is the dress rehearsal
You want to look like you tried without looking like you planned a photoshoot. A black or white tee, dark denim, and clean shoes cover 90% of cafes. Add a cap if it is bright outside. Bring a hoodie in case the air-con is feral.

- Basic Black T-Shirt — hides coffee, works with everything
- Pink or Black Dad Cap — optional, useful in Queensland sun
- Simple White Sandals or clean sneakers — pick based on walking distance
What not to overthink
Skip new shoes that will blister. Skip a hoodie as the only layer if you know you run hot. Sit down in the outfit once at home — if the tee rides up or the cap feels costume-y, change it now, not in the car.
